We excavate the failed drive, rebuild it with a deep, properly compacted granular base, and finish it in interlock or fresh gravel so it drains and stays put.

Big country lots move a lot of water in spring, and grading that sheds it away from the house and the outbuildings is the difference between a dry basement and a wet one.
