We do the whole thing in sequence so nothing gets redone: grading and drainage first, hardscape next, sod and planting last.
Whitby winters are real, and long driveways are a lot of shoveling. A heated snow-melting driveway — radiant tubing under the interlock, installed during the base build — keeps the whole drive clear through January without salt eating the pavers.

Do you do the whole yard or just the driveway?

Is a heated driveway worth it?
If you would rather not shovel a long double driveway all winter, yes — the system melts snow on contact, so the drive stays clear without salt damaging the pavers.
